Danner Men's Trail 2650 Campo 3" Hiking Shoes - Lightweight Waterproof Outdoor Boots for Trekking & Backpacking Adventures

I usually put superfeet in my shoes to get more arch support, but I found this unnecessary in this case. Light and comfortable. Aggressive tread.I ordered 'wide' like I always do, but these were tight in the toe-box. Not quite so tight that I sent them back. I checked the tongue 3 times, and these are marked "Mens EE", so... that should be 'extra wide'... I ordered 'wide'... and they seem narrow... ok then.I bought this shoe for my 14 year old grandson. It’s the first he’s had with a little style, and it’s about the same price as athletic shoes it’s good looking, fits his narrow feet and supports his ankles upright. We live in the Midwest. Snow is infrequent. These shoes are a perfect indoor-outdoor shoe for our climate.No tongue on this shoe. Only a small area to squeeze your foot into. It has laces but it's like lacing a slip-on, somewhat superfluous. As I face these shoes in the morning I don't look forward to putting them on. That said, they are comfortable and pleasant to wear and walk in.Super comfortable shoe but came apart after about a month on the sole (pictures are at three months) and there's these weird pockets on the sole that fill up with dirt. It's super comfy kind of like a slip on and I like how they feel and they do look nice but definitely durability is not what I expected for Danner. I'm a huge supporter of Danner I have had two pairs of boots from them and my boots lasted 6+ years the first pair so one month in and my shoes are falling apart I know Danner can do better than this glued up poor excuse for a shoe. Definitely Danner comfort with some china glue. Do better Danner last time I buy shoes from y'allGood looking comfy shoe. Not sure how water resistant the shoe is , but it’s smooth , quiet , and stylishShoe looks great! But be warned, they run small. And they Donnie have a traditional tongue that would adjust to your foot or make it easier to put on. It’s a fixed sock type shoe that will not allow anyone with much of an arch to put on. I was in a jam and had to have the shoes so had to take scissors and cut the opening larger to get my feet in. 2nd pair of danners that didn’t fit to my regular size.Have only worn these a few times so far, so I can’t speak to their longevity. But they are very comfortable and true to size. My test for comfort (besides walking/hiking) is a long drive in the car. A little heel and toe work tells you how comfortable a shoe is. And these passed.I was pleased to find that these shoes fit well for those of us with feet that are somewhat wide - many shoes are, in my opinion, too narrow. With these Danners, you won't look like you're walking around on popped biscuits!
