No offense, but towels are a woman thing. I’ve been single for a long time and having decent towels was something my wife took care of before she passed. Believe it or not, I’ve been using the same old towels for nearly 20 years. Yes, they are falling apart and have become thin and scratchy, but a guy doesn’t notice these things. With a new girlfriend moving in I thought some nice towels would be in order so I ordered these.Wow! I’d forgotten what a decent new towel could feel like. So soft and fluffy. Such a pleasure to dry off with after taking a shower. Why did I live with those threadbare towels for so long? I guess that for a guy towels are like underwear. Keep using them until they fall apart and blow away in the wind.The first thing I did when I received the towels was to throw them in the washing machine and then into the dryer. I always dry with a softener sheet and a couple of tennis balls in an attempt to keep things soft and fluffy. After washing and drying the towels experienced no fading and no shedding. They looked and felt better than when I pulled them out of the plastic. The dryers lint filter did catch quite a bit of lint, but surprisingly not as much as my ancient towels. When I pulled the filter out after drying my old towels there would be so much lint that it would get caught up inside. Not so much with these towels. Don’t get me wrong. There was plenty of lint. Just not nearly as much as I expected. I’ll be curious to find out if the lint quantity left by drying these towels lessons over time.Sure, there are much nicer towels out there, but at a much higher price. To me these towels feel luxurious. I guess it’s kind of like buying a new car after tolerating a clunker for 20 years. I visited some friends once and their towels shed all over me after taking a shower. Irritating. These don’t do that. I really really like these bath towels. So much that my favorite part of taking a shower is finishing so I can use one of these towels. It’s like drying off with a cloud. Since I only ordered towels, I’m now going to hunt down and order hand towels and wash cloths. All my old ones are worn and scratchy like my old towels. Time to spoil myself.One extra bonus is that now that I have the new towels, I have a bunch of new/old rags I can use out in the workshop and for cleaning the Jəəp.This particular set of Turkish face cloths are white as a fresh blanket of snow and well worth the money I paid for them; They are soft as cotton. The only problem I had is that one of the twelve towels was frayed real bad around the edge. I chalked it up as a small price to pay for the other 11 towels. I just didn’t think it would be worth all the trouble to send back the whole set and risk getting 2 or three bad ones from another set.I ordered the white washcloths and was impressed by their luxurious feel. They seem very substantial. Since I ordered them as a gift I can’t speak for their durability but they appear well made. I would order them again.I'm very picky about towels. I want them to be absorbent, thick and to hold their shape. I've only washed these a couple of times but they're very absorbent and they look great. I'm happy enough with them that I bought more. I went through some other towels that I didn't like first but can recommend these.I really liked these hand towels. Nice and thick. The only problem I had was one had like bleached stains.Purchased these as hand towels for the guest bath. The color was perfect for what I wanted. The towels are a little longer than most hand towels, which means they hang so nicely. They are thicker than anticipated, soft, and very absorbent.These towels wash very well. Love them!These are great quality & remain soft after washing them in the washing machine. Will buy the matching towels nextGreat product, worth the money for sure. Would buy again.
